    1. ANDERSONs: Alice and sons Samuel and James
    2. Alice (nee ROBSON) ANDERSON was the eldest daughter of James and Isabelle ROBSON. She was born in about 1856 and had two younger sisters; she became a school teacher and married an ANDERSON. In 1910 she is back home, now divorced, with two sons and, at "age 50", head of her own household with her own income. (She shares what is apparently a 2 family home with her mother who has shown boarders in other censuses.) Her sons James R., age 24, and Samuel C., age 19, work for Brass Mills, James in a clerical capacity and Samuel as an inspector. In 1930 Alice and Samuel are in Cook County, Chicago. Samuel, age 39, is still single; he's a veteran of WWI and is proprietor of a brass shop(?). James, age 44, is still in Kenosha; he's president of a brass works and owns his home. He's not a veteran. He has a wife, Janet, age 37, and 3 children: Andrew H. age 13, Alice A. age11, and James Jr. age 10. Can anyone give me further information about this family?
