I would ask my great grandfather: John Hayward Anderson (born in South Carolina, died in CA). I would like to know who his parents were and where they were from. I would also ask his wife, Sarah Jane Miller Brooks Anderson and I would ask her where the name Jones Traynham came from (my grandfather was Jones Traynham Anderson) I have found the name several places in her genealogy but can't detect the origin.
