Looking for information on an Andrew Anderson (born 1775-1780), probably in Scotland. I know he was married to a Janet Findlay (also born 1775-1780) and they were probably married 1795. Children include: Janet Anderson 1797, Kirriemuir, Scotland Helen Anderson 1799, Kirriemuir Stewart Anderson, 2/11/1808 - 4/3/1887, Kirriemuir Andrew Anderson 1804, Kirriemuir Peter Anderson 1815, Kirriemuir Stewart married Janet Hogg in 11/1/1829 in Kirriemuir. Any idea what happened to Martha Anderson, daughter of Stewart who married Janet Hogg in 11/1/1829 in Kirriemuir? I'm looking for parents of my g-grandmother, Martha Anderson bca 1834-1837. Martha married George W. Crane ca 1853; however, the marriage license was not returned. It was applied for in Greene Co., IN. Martha & George had several children, moved to IL around 1875 and one son was born there. They then returned to Greene Co., IN and died there. Who is Martha's family? Where did she come from? Would greatly appreciate all info and leads. Thanks! Would like to find someone related to C. R. Anderson wo landed in Dubuque, Iowa. in 1861. I know he married Sarah Carver in N.Y. Oldest child born in N.Y. in1 851. I do have a census from Iowa in 1870. Listing all siblings. Charles was my dads father. They were cigar makers. Kind of confusing but I've been ill.
