Anderson and his wife Francis. I have info on that family. They moved into Dade County Missoui in the late 1860's. Bartley was 38 y.o. in 1870. I would like some info as to when and where he died.
According to pension records, Bartley C. Anderson was born 28 Feb 1830 in DuQuoin, Perry Co IL, and died 14 Dec 1915 in Greenfield, Dade Co MO. He married Frances Bardmess 30 Sep 1852 in Perry Co IL. Frances was born in Dec 1833, according to the 1900 census, and d 11 Aug 1916. Ed Anderson and Minnie Anderson witnessed Frances' application for a Civil War widow's pension in Dec 1915 in Dade County. In May 1915 Bartley's pension questionnaire asked him to list his living children. Apparently he named all his children, living and dead, since in 1900 five of Frances' children were living, and in 1910 only three were living. Bartley listed his children as: William Harrison Anderson, b 24 Apr 1854 Mary Lucinda MORGAN, b 12 Oct 1855 Charley C. Anderson, b 26 Jul 1860 Edwin Peter Anderson, b 13 Apr 1867 Elva Cyrus Anderson, b 3 Jan 1870 Cora Bell RUSSELL, b 16 Aug 1874. Bartley served in Co F, 80th IL Inf, during the Civil War.
