Hi Joseph, Thank you for your reply to my Anderson query! Every little bit of information helps to put the puzzle together, you know. Where is Tucscarawas City, OH? (What county?) You're probably on the right track with your Andersons - Have you communicated with Marilyn Mansouria? Her ancestor, Stephen Hill, married Ann Anderson (b. 1812, MD.) in 1829 in Highland Co., OH. She states in Rootsweb that Ann was the daughter of James Anderson and Rachel Hopkins. Apparently, she got the information from the marriage records of Highland Co. The last email address I had for her was Mansouria1@aol.com, but haven't communicated with her in over a year. Let me know if you get a a definite confirmation of your James Anderson/Rachel Hopkins connection, won't you? And I, of course, will do the same with mine. Sincerely, Lynne ----- Original Message ----- From: "sharon" <slandingham@verizon.net> To: <ANDERSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, July 01, 2006 11:32 AM Subject: Re: [ANDERSON-L] James ANDERSON, b. 1763, & Rachel HOPKINS > Lynne, > I can't help you with your query on Anderson will, but just wanted to say > I have a Sarah Anderson b 1804 in Pa. Tuscarawas County is in eastern Ohio, some cities there: New Philadelphia and Schoenbrunn. Tuscarawas is off of Rt. 36 on 416 in Tuscarawas County. Mapquest or Rand McNally can get you there.
