I would like to apologize for offending anyone on this list. I got so excited when Green Berry Anderson's name came up I forgot everything else. I just found out this information on him and then to have someone talking about him on this list was too much. My Green Berry Anderson was born 3/27/1836 in Shellyville, Lincoln County, Tennessee. He died in Wheeler, Texas on 9/15/1923. He was married three times and with his second wife, Martha Henson, he has a son James William, my great-grandfather. If anyone can help me more I would appreciate it. Thank you, Donna Cooper Rowlett

I am trying to find living relatives from the Anderson side of my family. My grandfather (Andrew Peter Anderson, b. 7/23/1877) ran away from home at an early age and I have no contact whatever with others from his family. His family left Sweden in 1875 and came to Cheriton Iowa by 1881 (when they joined the Lutheran Church there). His father was Karl August and his mother was Lisa (or Elisa) Greta. According to Swedish records, the entire family left for the U.S. from Edshult parish in Jonkoping Lan (county). The children born Sweden were Anna Sofia (b. 7/7/1859), Johan Anton (b. 9/16/1861), Karl Frederick (b. 3/16/1966), Jonas August (b. 9/10/1868) and Gustav Alfred (b. 9/3/1871), Only Jonas and Gustav are reflected in Cheriton church records. Another son, Herman, was born in the U.S. on 1/9/1879. Anna Sofia may have married a Charles F. Sandahl 4/8/1879. Any information about living descendents of these people would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely yours, Charlie Jefferson (thirdpres@aol.com)

Hi listees, I have ben going through my file and sourcing the items and I happened up this poor fellow. I know considerable about his brothers and sisters but he seems to have picked up in 1825 and "went west young man". He had brothers and sisters that went to Illinois and Arkansas but I suppose he might have even gone to Iowa or Misouri. Anyway if you have a James Anderson with wife Ann for whom you cannot find the father please consider claiming this fellow. I wold be interested in collecting the Descendants of James Anderson. Generation No. 8 (I can share tons on the preceding 7) 1. JAMES8 ANDERSON (ARMSTEAD7, JOHN6, JAMES5, THOMAS4, THOMAS3, THOMAS2, RICHARD1) (Source: Urshula Anderson Kief, Anderson Family Bible, (Collins's Third Edition, New York; Printed and sold by Collins & Co.; 1814.).) was born November 07, 1785 in Henry County, Virginia, and died Aft. 1820. He married ANN FRAZIER September 11, 1811 in Union County, Kentucky. Notes for JAMES ANDERSON: James Anderson's birth November 07, 1785 is recorded in the Urshula Anderson Bible last known to be in the possession of William Allen Anderson, Morganfield, Kentucky, 42437. James is listed in the 1820 Union Co., Kentucky census, but not after that. Tax records indicate that he was last in Union county in 1825. His land was taken over by his brother William who paid the taxes on it in 1826. William however did not assume control of his children, his slaves, or his horses. I suspect that he may have moved on to Illinois or Arkansas. Tax data Henderson and Union Counties Kentucky Co. Yr Hrs Cow M>21 M>16 M<16 Land Description H 1808 1 1 400 a. I agree that if someone is looking for a person or a family that they should put the name in the subject line. I for one just delete e-mail that says no subject or that has no name in the subject line. Come on people we can't help each other if we don't have a clue first we don't have in the subject line. Also give what you know , like dates , where (state ,county, Town) that is if you know that information. Every little bit helps some one to try and help you. I realize there are a lot of unknown info but what you have helps. Also one other thing if some one fines something that connects with your line share back with them as there are a lot of takers and a lot of none gives out there. We are all working for a common goal to find where we came from. A nother Anderson looking for his the missing link. --part1_914e0347.251cd1d9_boundary--
Hi folks, Thought I would try again. William H. Anderson (1847 - 1937), celebrated Civil War Veteran m. Catharine Rowe (1852-1922). His parents were Franklin Anderson and Mary Ann Wims. Williams siblings were David Stuart, Hannah Moore, Franklin, Thomas Bentley, Anna Franklin, Amanda Martha, Frank, Mary Jennings and Charles Paul. Williams children were Sarah Z. (my grandmother), Samuel Kane, Mary A. Frank, William H., John R. Margaret, Adelaide L. (the pilot), Thomas Bentley, Katie Anderson, and Catherine J. I have an Alice Anderson, daughter of Moses and Lydia Anderson. She was born in the Trenton area around 1856. Sounds like she may be too young if she married c 1860. I have no information on her marriage or death, only information on her ancestry. On the next farm lived a Thomas Anderson, married to Nancy and son of Samuel (per his will of 1844), and I wonder if this could have been Nancy's father? The 1850 Belmont County, Ohio census shows that Mary Anderson is no longer in the Wm.. HUNTSMAN household, so perhaps she preceded her father in death and thus was not mentioned in his will. An early Harrison county book states that Thomas was an early resident of Short Creek, Harrison County, Ohio, and lived there in 1802. Can anyone help me with Mary Anderson, or Thomas?
