When I want to use a more sophisticated report I convert to #2 2- Reunion 3- Family Tree Maker They all have similarities, and each has it's own characteristics. Marita

I don't know if I am supposed to do this or not, so I apologize ahead of time, but, I am looking for a computer software program to put all of my info on. I have it on paper, and it works for me, but as I am now talking to others on the Internet, I don't want to have to type all of the names and dates to each separate individual when I email them the family info they are looking for. Is it OK to solicit opinions from everyone on which program is the best one available? I am thinking of both ease of use and easy to read to determine who begat whom. Stephen Carlile

I am seeking information on John Arthur Anderson who was born in York County Ontario, in about 1869. I have his obituary. He died 15 April 1909 in Vancover BC. He was 39 years old, and had moved from Winnepeg in 1907. What is his birth date? Who are his parents? He married Nellie May Howard, but I don't have a marriage date. There is a marriage for a Nellie May Howard 23 Oct 1901 Niagara Falls, reportedly found on an index. I don't have a copy of that index nor the marriage document to verify who the groom is. It is possible that he is related to Angelina Howard b 22 Sept 1859. She was the 3rd wife of Harmon Hamon b 19 Oct 1829 Ameliaburgh Ontario. This Harmon is Nellie's grandfather. According to pension papers I just received from NARA on James W. Anderson, James (born abt 1837 in Darwin, IL, died 1895 in Denver), married America ? (died abt 1916 in Denver) & moved to Denver, CO abt 1885. James & America had a son named Archer who was living in Denver in 1916. Mary Zula ANDERSON b 1879 Llano, Llano Co., TX, was married to William Edward SMITH b 1874 AR. They were in Arlie, Childress Co., TX on 31 Oct 1902 when my grandfather, Frank Campbell SMITH, was born. At some point, they moved on to Pinon, Otero Co., TX, where they raised their children and had a goat farm. They are both buried in the Avis Cemetery which is just outside Pinon. My great grandfather was John Arthur Anderson. These Andersons are not Swedish descent, but Scot-Irish and Cherokee Indian. They are dark skinned, tan easily and are very tall and lanky built. Their mother was Sarah Caroline Anderson, and their father was Rufus Delp. The SSI places them in Tacoma at the time of their deaths. They were both born in Alleghany County, NC around 1885-1890.
