Searching for anyone who is connected to the above James ANDERSON, m. ca. 1801, Rachel HOPKINS; they had twelve children, some of whom migrated to Highland Co., OH. with them by 1820. I am descended from one of those children, James ANDERSON, Jr., b. ca. 1791, served in the War of 1812, and became a captain. He married Margaret BROOKS and settled in Madison Twp., Highland Co., OH. in 1822. They had four children: Sarah, b. 1823 (m. Robert WORTHINGTON), William (my GGgrandfather), b. 1821, Samuel, and Andrew Jackson, b.1827 (Andrew d. at the age of 12). I would like to share information. Lynne jesse@the-onramp.net

I am descended from John and Sarah's son William. The Albert Gallatin is Albert Gallatin Anderson. His son was Bailey Washington Anderson, and his son, my great grandfather, was Albert Hulon Anderson. Of course all these go back to Bailey, and Bailey, Jr. Thanks, Dianne
Hi-- I believe my Anderson line is Welch. It is possible that an ancestor was born in Ireland, but their bloodlines were Welch. Because Buckingham County VA records burned, I have had a hard time following lines. However, I am sticking to the Welch idea, since wherever I have looked since they left Virginia, my Anderson's have always been interconnected with Welch. Carol (Anderson) Huber
Oh, You have hit on something... our John is listed in some court documents in the Perry county court house in 1850 -52 as John Anderson Jr. and I had seen a different date according to the census records but it also says born in Ireland.. and that really makes it hard to locate. ----- Original Message ----- From: Debra Miller <fortlong@shentel.net> To: <ANDERSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, December 12, 1999 6:36 PM Subject: Re: [ANDERSON-L] Andersons/Buckingham & Nelson Co. I connect-- James Anderson and Jane Guerrant are my third great grandparents. For some time now, I thought James was the son of a William Anderson, of which I understood there were three of that name, time and place. I am very interested in any documention of the children of William and the relationship of James to them. John Anderson married Elizabeth Guerrant--John is the son of James and Jane and he married Elizabeth, his cousin, and she is the daughter of Stephen Guerrant and Nancy Fearn. Please respond. Carol

Anderson Mary E. (Lizzie) Boman City of Denton Death Certificate for Mrs. A. J. Anderson lists death date as 21 Jan 1910.
