I really believe that Perry & his unmarried chn were either not enumerated for the 1870 Tx/La census, omitted from the entire 1870 Tx/La census indexes, or are listed under some surname that does not begin with "And". I have even searched the entire 1870 Tx/La indexes under just their given names and I have searched every page of the 1870 Shelby Co Tx, Orange Co Tx, and Sabine Parish La censuses individually (twice) but still cannot find ANY of them. Perry & Isabella are "said" to have died in the latter 1870's but all of their chn were still living in 1900 so they were definetly somewhere in 1870 !!!

    3. I am searching for info on Walter ANDERSON of Anderson Co., SC. This man seems to be the father or grandfather of Richard Walter "Walt" ANDERSON. Walt was the father of Richard Walter ANDERSON, Jr.(1851-1925) and wife Augusta Eugenia WILSON.( 1849-1921) Their son was Lander Barnes ANDERSON, Sr. This Lander Barnes ANDERSON md. Ethel Irene Rice. His dates d. 2 Oct 1955: All these families resided from Abbeville and into Anderson Counties, SC, but Lander jr. and Ethel moved to Spartanburg and lived their lives there. They then moved to California around Loma Linda and all were living in that area the last I heard from any of them. I had heard through distant family that my uncle had passed away but don't know about their mother, Grace. I heard she had moved back to Florida. I have searched names online but haven't had any luck. Dolly was married to Ronny Sullivan. Thanks again.

Perhaps if your spelling came from a census or was misconstrued along the line (It happens more than you might imagine for many reasons) you might try soundex searches or use Beaufour.
