Sir Thomas Jackson (2ndBt.) He died 1/4/1975 while on a cruise, was cremated and his ashes were scattered in Jackson Bay, New-Zeland. He had two sons and a daughter. Thomas Rickard Eyre b. 3/2/1921 ka. February 1944 at Monte Cassino. Julius b. 6/2/1922 drowned 31/7 1943. Nancy Amelia (my wife's mother) b. 24/9/1924, d. 2002 The title passed to Sir Thomas's younger brother Sir George Julius Jackson,(3rd Bt.), who died without a male heir. (his only son was ka. 7/12/1943). The Title then passed to the third brother Sir Walter David Russell Jackson (4th Bt.) and then to his son Sir Michael Rowland Jackson (5th Bt.) who I am pleased to say is a hearty 87 years old and will celebrate his birthday 20th April. I don't know if the book was ever returned to Sir Thomas, but can try to find out if it is still in the family. Your message was six years ago so you may well have located it by now. Please confirm you have received this e-mail and we can take it from there. Regards Brian McDonald.
