Notes for MARIETTA JEMIMA AMY: Ediths grandmother Tabor ran a boarding house in Lake City to raise her family. Her husband never came home from the Civil War. In later years he came back to his wife (hed had another wife in between) to be taken care of. Grandmas 3 sisters lived in Denver - Tillie Johnson, Ida and Mary. Notes for HEELIN HUGH TABOR: Old handwritten notes found in family attic "Mustered out in Fort Dodge in 1865, served in Company R 31st Iowa Infantry. Didn't come back from Civil War until much later, and he was married (don't know what happened to 2nd wife). His first wife took care of him until he died. She married a man by the name of Huff."
