She went up to Granville, VT back in 1963 and copied the following information. NOTE: I do not have any other details other than what I'm including here. Items copied from old record books in Town Clerk's Office Page 99 Kingston Oct. 10, 1833 - Survey of certain roads, etc., in Kingston surveyed by John Chaffes and approved by Samuel Pinney, Elisha Ford and Eber Lamb, selectment. Page 100 Kingston, March 4, 1834, Item 3 - chose Samuel Pinney selectman, also Elisha Ford and Eber Lamb. Item 54 - chose Isaac Parker, Samuel P. and Thos. King grand jurors to attend the supreme and county court the year ensuing. Item 57 - voted to allow Samuel P. $1.50 for laying out road. Item 59 - voted to set to Samuel P. road leading from north side of ? to road leding from Elisha Ford's to Ira King. Page 102 List of scholars in River District in Mar., 1834 - Samule P. 4, Benjamin Pinney 3. Page 103 Town meeting March 26, 1834, notice by Samuel P., Elisha Ford and Eber Lamb, selectmen. Item 1 - chose Sam. P. moderator to govern meeting. Page 106 & 107 Notice of meetings signed by Sam P. and Elisha Ford select. Page 108 Item 38 chose Samuel P., Elisha Ford and 4 more as jurors to court meetings. Item 43 voted to Sam P. 2.50 for surveying roads. (Noticed that the town must have changed name between 1834 and 1835 and there was a meeting at Kingston Sept. 24, 1834 and one at Granville Feb. 18, 1835 with Samuel Pinney, selectman, both times).
