I realize that this is not a very active list, but it only takes one person to make the right connection. I have 4 separate Amy families that I have not connected yet. He married 14 Oct 1897 in Canaan VT to Nellie Ardell Luther who was born 23 Apr 1866 in Pittsburg NH and died 29 Nov 1953 in Warren MA. They had a daughter: Isabel Emily Amey born 23 May 1907 Clarksville NH and died 18 Sep 1977 Spencer MA She married 22 Dec 1922 in Farmington ME to Charles Lester Whitman who was born 17 Apr 1901 Livermore Falls ME and died 21 Dec 1969 Westfield MA Second family is. Abraham Amy married to Rebecca and had a son. William Amy born 2 Oct 1824 in Stanstead Canada and died 14 May 1900 Shorey KS. William married 1st bef 1849 in Vermont to Eleanor (Ellen) Luther born abt Jan 1831 in Canaan VT and died 3 Nov 1862. William and Ellen had a daughter Ella A Amy born 17 Sep 1854 in Guildhall VT and died 24 Jun 1921 in Lowell MA. Ella married 1st 17 Sep 1874 in Topeka KS to John MacDonald born 6 Feb 1843 on Island of Lewis in Scotland and died 12 Oct 1916 in Topeka KS. Ella married 2nd 8 Jun 1885 in Nashua NH to Charles Edwin Leavitt born 12 Nov 1858 Lowell MA and died 16 Jan 1927 Tewksbury MA. William married 2nd 6 Jan 1865 in Lowell MA to Sarah Jane Mudget born 25 Mar 1831 Farnsworth NH and died 21 Dec 1905 Shorey KS. William and Sarah had 2 daughters. Carrie Emma Amy born 31 Aug 1866 N. Reading MA and died 11 Jan 1884 Topeka KS Beulah Minnie Amy born 4 Dec 1872 Topeka KS and died 19 Jan 1960 Boonton NJ. Beulah married 5 Mar 1894 Topeka KS to Edmond T Barstow born 8 Jan 1870 Bridgeport CT and died 15 Mar 1951 Topeka KS Third family is: George Amy had a daughter Rebecca Amy born about 1754 and died 29 Sep 1829 in Hopkinton NH. She married 2 Sep 1779 in Salem NH to Joseph Hastings born 25 Jan 1753 in Salem NH and died 7 Mar 1825 in Hopkinton NH Fourth family is: Sally Amy, unknown birth and died 9 Dec 1847 in Bath NH. She married Nov 1786 in Manchester NH to David Bailey born 10 Mar 1752 Methuen MA and died 6 Sep 1824 Bath NH If you recognize any of the names get in touch with me and we can exchange information.
