Lester was born on January 11, 1936 in Vincennes, Indiana. Lester married Joan, the love of his life and moved to California in 1959. He was a loving and caring man, thoughtful and interested in all around him. He is deeply loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife and eternal love, Joan; three children, daughters, Diana Spurgeon and Pamela Sambrano, and son, Gregory Amy. Lester is also blessed with 7 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by and forever kept close, his brother, Ken Amy and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on February 2nd at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, CA.
