Our ancestor is Lawrence Amey or Eighmey He was born 9 May 1782, but I don't know where. But I know for sure that he moved to NY state, because all of his children were born there. Lawrence Amey married Mary Brakest. If you have any clue as to where they came from, or who their parent might be, I sure would love to know.
