Hi all Just a bit of general question in case someone is hunting in the same area as I. Lorna Pratt is also chasing around a similar area so there may be some overlap. >From the 1841 Census for St Martin we have Philip Amy 40 Yeoman Y Rachel 30 Y Philip 10 Y John 8 Y Frederick 4 Y Eliza 7 Y Rachel Le Gros 50 Ind Y I am primarily interested in the ancestors of: Philip Amy 40 Yeoman Y Rachel 30 Y Rachel Marie AMY - her maiden name was Le Gros and I have her parents as Phillipe LE GROS and Marie PELLIER. And then the usual brick wall. John, migrated to Canada later made his fortune and then returned to Jersey. Regards Grahame Amy Sunny Brisbane, Australia Ars Eduro, Vita Brevis
