The "ence" or "ance" ending is sometimes substituted for "ants" and/or "ents" and I've looked through Peter Stebbins Craig's book (Thank you Isabel for the loan of it -- okay, I'm putting a cork in it after this) in vain for a suitable name beginning with "S" and haven't found anything. There is a Syberants, and I thought MAYBE I had misinterpreted the "Seq" in Sequence for "Sy" in Syberants, but its quite a reach. Easier done if one's had a few!
