Everyone, I am not sure where to start but I'll just go anyway. First, I'll start with Ancestry.com. I have been frustrated like others when I get bumped back to Ancestry.com from another web sites search engine. I think that I may have found something at 2:30 in the morning after hours of searching, just to quickly have my hopes dashed that it COSTS MONEY. I have many other gripes about Ancestry that are just too long and complicated to explain. With that in mind, I have to say that when I went to my public library a few weeks ago I found out they have a subscription to Ancestry and I was very pleased. So, Ellen, I think it can be a useful research tool, too bad it can't have a disclaimer that lists the many criticisms I, and many of the people, on this list seem to have. The last point I want to make in this unorganized response it to Carolyn. I again want to thank you for creating this list and giving me hope that I will solve my family mystery. I hope that those who come across this group will see what a valuable tool and wealth of knowledge is at their finger tips. Forever up late and searching, Erin Wiles O'Connell
