I just found out that I will be making an unexpected trip in two weeks that will bring me to within about thirty minutes of Yorktown, Va. What great luck!! So since I’ll be so close, I will of course have to visit the battleground where my Hessian soldier was surrendered to the Americans over 230 years ago, and am wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions for visiting the place. I mean, will the Hessian history of the place be presented in an obvious manner, or should I do a little research before I go? You can contact me off list. Thanks, Marie Rasnick Fetzer
