The last time I was there they didn't have much on the German troops, although the AB flag was on display at the time. I recommend the Yorktown Pub on the waterfront for easy eats. The site is well worth the visit. What great luck!! So since I’ll be so close, I will of course have to visit the battleground where my Hessian soldier was surrendered to the Americans over 230 years ago, and am wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions for visiting the place. I mean, will the Hessian history of the place be presented in an obvious manner, or should I do a little research before I go?
