Does anyone on this list know if there is a list of prisoners quartered at the Convention Army Barracks? Jack Holdzkom Virginia Beach, VA Possible descendant of Braunschweig Grenadier Christian Holzkamp
The closest thing is the list that Clifford Neal Smith published, which comes from one prepared by the British near the end of the war. It's at the Library of Congress. I believe if you go to the LoC site and search on "German soldiers Revolutionary War," the item will pop up. I looked at microfilm there. It's very hard to read. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jack Holdzkom" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2012 10:33 AM Subject: [AMREV-HESSIANS] Convention Army Barracks > Does anyone on this list know if there is a list of prisoners quartered at > the Convention Army Barracks? > > > Jack Holdzkom > Virginia Beach, VA > Possible descendant of Braunschweig Grenadier Christian Holzkamp > PLEASE CHECK ALL OF YOUR SUBJECTS! > ~~~~~~~~~ > FOUNDER: John H.
