    3. Thank you, Barbara. I'll take any hints I can get! I have also noticed some clustering of descendants of Hessians - Greene Co., PA and possibly Licking Co., OH, specifically. I'll definitely check into Carroll Co., IN. Susan >It seems worth your while to check out Carroll County, Indiana, for descendents of Christopher Waggoner. My reasoning is that a group of Ansbach-Beyreuth soldiers seem to have descendents clustered in Carroll County at the second generation level. It seems apparent that at least a few were prisoners of war, and from the very early battles. Daniel and John Waggoner appeared there in 1829 at about the time some Brethren or Dunkard congregations migrated from Ohio, probably the Four Mile Creek area. Early confirmation records from a Lancaster Co. PA Reformed Church mentioned the parents as having been of the prisoners from Trenton. That church was German speaking and was a seed church for many Dunkard congregations that migrated into the Northwest Territory. It is a long and convoluted story but this is just a hint thrown your way. I'm just saying....... Barbara
