He moved to Surry County, NC, about 1793. There he is listed in the court records of a Methodist church as a Trustee. Hi! I'm looking for any information on a Henry Goodhart from Hesse, who might have served as a Hessian solider during the American Revolution? He married Catherine Weil in Lancaster PA 1791. Any help to confirm or deny him having any Hessian service would be greatly appreciated! I know his brother-in-law Johannes Crede served as a Hessian solider in Rall's regiment. Thanks in advance!
