I was just checking the GNIS map server looking for an old town in Virginia and came across some interesting information to share: Forestville, Virginia is located in Shenandoah Co, VA on the map of New Market, VA-- It is between Mount Jackson and New Market, to the west. Forestville used to be called Hesse-Cassel, which is listed as a variant name. Even thought my Hessian (Goldeiss) was not of Hesse-Cassel, I thought someone on this list may find this useful.
