Dec. l, 1784". and I am curious if you have ever come across Hessian soldiers marrying while still being active participants in the Hessian army during the Rev. War. The Rev War according to the signing of the treaty in Paris was over in Sept 1783, this gives over a year from that date to the birth of Johannes, They may have even married after the war was over..
