    3. Listers, Pickaway County historians have an on-going puzzle regarding the community of Tarlton, OH. Tradition says it was founded early by soldiers of the British military leader Tarlton. While this is not Hessian, it shows the area between Ross County and Franklin County was isolated enough that perhaps both British and Hessians were attracted in groups to the area? Should anyone have info regarding the Tarlton, OH settlement, I can relay such info (off List) to the Circleville, Pickaway County, OH historians. Bob Fetters, descendant of Cpl.or Rev.
