    3. I have been getting these for several years. They always tell me to send it to spoof@ebay.com and then delete it. It is a common problem but it doesn't help! I did not reply to it, but signed into eBay and asked them about it. They asked that I forward it to them and then delete it. Less than a day later they responded, saying it was a hoax and to ignore it. They were taking action. Apparantly it is not dead yet. Remember that eBay and AOL will never ask for that kind of information. They will also address you by name and by some manner of identification that will assure you it is authentic. Both John and I were scammed the same way and neither of us gave them any information but rather reported them to eBay. BE CAREFUL. The scammers and spammers are a bright bunch and evil.
