    1. Hessian Soldier Plaque - Pictures needed !
    2. John Merz
    3. Hello Hessian descendants: Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of pictures of the plaque itself, what I am after is pictures of the plaque on Hessian soldier's graves, or memorials, or even when presented to some organizations. If you have such a picture, scan them and e-mail to me with explanations of where when, who and why, etc. I want to put together a memento in form of an album to present along with an actual plaque to the Rose House Museum. It is supposed to demonstrate that the Hessian Soldiers have been receiving their due respect from their descendants all over the country. If you have original pictures you can mail them to me John H. Merz 703-350 Concession St., Hamilton, Ontario, L9A 1B6 Canada. Would really appreciate your help, John

    3. John, I even had hired a photographer and we have a video tape of our grave site dedication for Johann Henrich Hammer. I have a 1 1/2" 3-ring notebook of prints from the day. Do you want just a picture of the grave site, with the plaque, or with "descendants" in the background, or with the uniformed re-enactors, or with DAR/SAR people, or with any part in the program? Also, I have a full script, if that is of interest? As you know, you can have copies of anything I have----by e-mail attachment or photo prints by snail mail. What can I send? Don't want to bury you with info or pictures you already have or don't want.
