Mr. Merz, I am forwarding to your private email a photo of my Hessian ancestor Jacob Rasnick's memorial stone which was erected by his descendants in 1977 in Lebanon, Virginia at his original homesite. I am also attaching a few newspaper articles about the original effort to raise money and support for the monument, and to try to document some of Jacob's Hessian history, although as you will see when you read them, the information is inaccurate according to what we know about him today.
