    3. Hello folks: Please welcome our new AMREV-HESSIANS mail list administrator Mrs, Jane Curci WMCURCI@aol.com who has graciously offered to continue with running this list and look after. I do hope that you support her as you did me, or even better. This coming month will bring much change in my routines, my research material for the Canadian Hessians will go to the Marilyn Adams Genealogical Research Centre, Ameliasburg, Ontario http://www.quinte-kin.com where it will be available for research by all Hessian descendants, and my Hessian files of those who settled in the United Staes will be picked up soon after by the Librarian of the SAR for their genealogical Library in Louisville, Kentucky. I know my material will be in good hands in both places, and will be available to all Hessian soldier family researchers. Rest assured that I will keep an eye out for the list, but since my own research material is gone, I won't be of much research help anymore. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all subscribers for the help they have given me over the years, it was always fun and entertaining, and I loved it, but I am catching myself making too many mistakes, and forgetting what I did half an hour ago, and it's the same with my good wife Emmi, so therefore we quit while we are ahead. Thanks again, and good luck Jane, Good by and Auf Wiedersehen. John Helmut Merz, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (see my books on eBay seller name the-hessian)

    3. --=======64B61438======= Content-Type: text/plain; x-avg-checked=avg-ok-4F9E1CD4; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit John your knowledge of the Hessians has helped us all and we thank you. Just this past Friday I received the Will of my Hessian Georg Strohlein (George Strayline) written in 1817 and he evidently did pretty good after coming back to America and Philadelphia, he had five children and I only knew of my ancestor so more research is in progress. So thanks for all your help through the list over the years. Mason mhem@bellsouth.net --=======64B61438=======--
