Hello Hessians: During my active time on the Internet, meaning when I participated on many mailing lists, on occasion I would have posted a Personal Data File for a particular Hessian, containing important information about that man. I have just tried to find some of them in the mail list archives of the QUEBEC-L, NOVA-SCOTIA-L, ONTARIO-L, UPPER-CANADA-L and you can do that to by accessing http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/?list=NOVA-SCOTIA (change list name for other lists) and typing in the query box: (Personal AND DATA) with the brackets, and try the early years between 1998-2000 This of course is also true for the AMREV-HESSIANS list and the QUEBEC-HESSIANS list. I tried it myself last night with our AMREV-HESSIANS list and WOW! it kept me busy for hours - most interesting stuff which most of it I have forgotten since. Let me say it again - those archives are loaded with information, the whole history of the Hessian troops in detail, book recommendations galore. You cannot buy all those books I quoted. Believe me.
