Burgoyne's books, titled "They also served", Women with the Hessian Auxiliaries, published 1999 by Heritage Books, Inc., page 41, I found the following note: "KLEINSCHMIDT. Ann, nee Townsend, (American) from Charleston, South Carolina, married Quartermaster Sergeant Friedrich Jacob Kleinschmidt of the Benning Regiment, on 6 December 1781 at Charleston. One would have to check Hetrina records of the Archives in Marburg about this soldier, whether he returned to Europe or remained in America. Cheers, John Merz, retired Hessian researcher.
