Unfortunately, I have no idea where my ancestor Hessian (or Brunswicker) Johann Giest Halbaer was buried, except that it was probably on the family farm somewhere in the former Argenteuil Seigniory . However, so far I have been unable to find the location of the family farm. So the mystery remains. While on the subject, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish John all the best in his upcoming trip to Germany. It will no doubt be an exhilirating experience, once again, for our benevolant ambassador who has done so much for the advancement and the dissemination of the Hessian contribution in North Anerica. John, may God bless you!
