    3. I ran across a webpage that has some files on this Regiment. It is the Johannes Schwalm Historical Archives. I emailed them concerning a soldier named Yarger who's name appeared next to a soldier named Jaeger. My Hessian ancestor was named John Yarger. Good Luck! -----Original Message----- From: Robert Sulentic <rnsulentic@earthlink.net> Sent: Mar 13, 2005 4:17 PM To: AMREV-HESSIANS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: RE: [HESSIAN] Hessian General That's curious. Everything else I've ever seen about the General indicates that he died in Cassel in 1800. -Robert Sulentic > -----Original Message----- > From: JeanShar40@aol.com [mailto:JeanShar40@aol.com] > Sent: Sunday, March 13, 2005 6:52 PM > To: AMREV-HESSIANS-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [HESSIAN] Hessian General > > History of Western Maryland by John Thomas Scharf, A.M. printed 1882 > > Vol 1 > Necrology of Frederick Co since 1749: > > "List of deaths of leading individuals" > > > > June 2, 1789 Baron Knyphausen, the Hessian general, who > served in America during the greater part of the Revolutionary War > > Someone know of this fellow?
