    3. Sorry I can't help with your Hessian. How did youget access to the HETRINA volumes? I am looking for four or five French Alsatian brothers who came over as Hessians and stayed. The modern surname is Corya or Coryea; before it could have been Cruea, Cruey, Coryell. In German, closest would have been Kruer but I am sure our family name was originally French.
