Amidon, wife of Volney Jerome Mathews, my 3xgreat grandmother. All I have on Jedediah is he was a private in the Lexingon Alarm from Willington and served 9 days. He enlisted in Conncticut Troops in May of 1775 at age 22. He was in the Battle of Bunker Hill May 6-June in 1776 and Battle of Harlem Heights and White Plains. Does this help ayone?
