They did, however, have a daughter born in 1861 named Elma Arvilla. See the 1870 Clymer, Chautauqua Co., New York census. I do have a record for an Elmer O. Amidon born 09 April 1861 who was the son of Otis Amidon and Grace Cooley. Otis died in 1864 in Pembroke, Genesee Co., New York and is buried in the Old Papermill Cemetery on the Cook farm in Genesee. You will find Elmer and his mother Grace enumerated in the 1870 census in Pembroke, Genesee Co., New York. Martha Hagar died 29 December 1900.
