He married Sarah Adams, of Canter- bury, Conn. He served from January 1, 1781, to April 1, 1781, in Capt. John Carpenter's Company. He was a farmer and lived in Wilbraham, Mass., where he died April 21, 1843. CHILDREN. * 416 -- Abirham, born November, 1792. 417 -- Hannah (Ansa). She married August 20, 1807, Horatio Coomes, of Longmeadow, Mass. They had two daughters, Ada and Delia. 418 -- Ebenezer, born 1796. He was a shoemaker and lived in Wilbra- ham, where he died August 26, 1861. He married (first) Celia Lee and (second), in 1845, Mrs. Miriam Fowler. No children. 419 -- Lodicy. She never married and lived at Somers, Conn. 420 -- Eliza. 421 -- Joanna. She married in 1825, Dr. Levi Bliss, of Woodstock. He was born April 20, 1798, and died May 22, 1867. i - Samuel, born 1827; died while serving in Company C. Seventh Connecticut Volunteers at Beaufort, S. C., 1863. ii - Dr. Levi; served three years in Company C. Seventh Connecticut Volunteers; lives in East Woodstock, Conn. iii - Mary F.; died young. iv - David W., died young. THE AMIDON FAMILY. v. John L., lives in Minnesota; served in a Minnesota Regiment during the war. vi - Permelia E., lives in Minnesota. vii - Mary T., lives in Minnesota. viii - Lyman B., born 1843; served in the Twentieth Massa- chusetts Volunteers and died in Minnesota. * 422 -- John, born August 8, 1803. * 423 -- Lester. 424 -- Zenith (Asenith); married ----- Porter. I did not find a reference for Edward or Lyman Brooks, nor for an Alice Amidon b. 1803. Could she be the Eliza listed above? Sorry I don't have a definitive answer. Any others out there?
