Here is the link to the New York State Department of Health site for birth records: http://www.health.state.ny.us/vital_records/ It would take a LOT more research, but I think she *might* be the daughter of Byron and Mary GODFREY, found in Stephentown, Rensselaer, NY. The 1900 census lists daughters Maud, Martha and Lottie in the correct approximate age. But, the 1905 NY state census lists a "Marcha Godfrey", age 17, born about 1887. This matches with the Martha listed in the 1900 census, born December 1887. I suggest you send for Floyd's birth certificate and Marcia's death certificate to find out for certain.
