To the several kind souls who answered my query as to my g uncle's membership in the SAR...I checked my file for additional info and this is what I found. The obit of 1951 definitely reads Sons of the American Revolution..as I mentioned they cannot find him on their membership list. Quite sure the Patriot he registered through was not KENNON..as his father was born in England. His Mothers' side included..HALL, BROOKS and PALMER, most likely all from CT. Dr. KENNON;s wifes gg grandfather, Alexander HUNTER served in the Revolution so he could have registered (?) through him. Thanks again all! Charlie Hunter
