> Does anyone have access to this book? I need a look-up of Cornelius McIntire, > please. "McIntire, Cornelius, Pitts." That's all it says. The "Pitts" means the name was on a list of militia paid off at Fort Pitt in 1775. The author speculates that these were men from Dunmore's War late in receiving their pay. He included them as "interesting data" and notes that "practically all of them immediately joined the Revolutionary forces."
