Anybody out there know anything about Maj. John Pearson. He was from the Broad River area of SC. He became a General in the South Carolina militia in the war of 1812. His wife is Sarah Raiford. I believe he fought with Marion in the Southern campaigns. But, I would like to find more info about him or places for literature to find out about my ancestor.
