Dear Listers, Were all males required to serve during the Rev. in some capacity if they were not Loyalists ? When searching for service records on ancestors from families who definitely resided in the colonies, some seem to have just disappeared as no records can be found. Where would the best source be located other than the NARA for service or pension applications? Could a man get a sub? Who would that be if all were required to serve?
