This probably is the same George KNOX found in DAR Patriot Index as a Sgt Maj, and found in the 9th PA Regt as Quartermaster, and found in Wayne's Light Infantry Corps (1st LI Regt) as a Lt. hero at Stony Point, NY in 1779. Later he is given a minor diplomatic posting in England. Anything on George KNOX of PA would be appreciated.
