qvarizona wrote giving the URL of the Library of VA index. The LVA's index for Dunmore's War manuscripts omits all of the militia that set out from Ft. Pitt and all of the PA and northern WV claimants supplying them. Library of VA seems to be harboring historical resentment that WV split away during the Late Wowah, so excludes WV material from its historical stuff whenever possible. I am surprised that they have not expunged land grants in present WV from their land grants index. Maybe just haven't gotten around to it. Judy
