There was an Amos Hadley, according to the NH State Papers Vol #15 pg. 116, who served in the Revolutionary War. This Amos served under the command of Lieu Col Moses Kelly whose company was from Goffstown, NH and the surrounding towns. He enlisted July 1,1777 and was discharged July 5, 1777 as were all the members of this company. I have in my line an Amos Hadley who lived in Dunbarton, NH, an adjacent town to Goffstown. How do I go about proving or disproving the Amos Hadley that served in the Revolutionary was the same Amos Hadley from the adjacent town of Dunbarton? James R.
