To Harper Researchers: If anyone has early history about Harper's Ferry I would appreciate your help at looking to see if you have information about the grist mill which was part of the area around the ferry. My family tradition is that my Revolutionary War ancestor, robert John Eager (or John Robert Eager or Ager) operated the grist mill until he enlisted in military service in Dec. 1776 in Col. James Wood's 12th Virginia. He died of wounds received in battle in 1778 so any information about the grist mill would be prior to 1776. Thanks for any assistance or suggestions, George Patrick
