In 1775, Ransom was appointed as Colonel of minute men in Guilford county NC. Dec. 16, 1776, Ransom resigned commission in 4th Reg. of NC troops. I'm looking for further information of his war record during that time. Hope someone can help. Many thanks, Joanne Sutherland
