A couple of years ago I read part of a book published by the University of South Carolina Press on the American Revolution in the South Carolina backcountry. I can't find it listed in the current USC Press catalog. I'd like to try to find it at a library (or a used book store) if it's out of print. Can anyone on this list suggest a title? (I've looked in the Library of Congress online catalog without success.) What I remember most about the book were a couple of detailed descriptions (in the first thirty or so pages) of the architecture of log cabins.
