Ester: Thank you so much for your reply on JOSEPH BURTON....I have been trying to get information on this family because of my great/great grandfather JEREMIAH JARET BURTON...he was born Apr 1814, South Carolina, and I thought that JOSEPH could be a great fit for his grandfather...I would like to ask a big big favor, do you have anything on JOHN , MEHATABEL, DOUGLAS or WILLIAM BURTONs children? wives etc...I think that one of these men could very possibly be the father of my JEREMIAH....he came to Georgia without our being able to find out who his father was....He settled in Burton Town, Rabun County, Ga....the Lake Burton is named for the Town; and the town after JEREMIAH....so we have alot to be looking for....Any little bit of help would be appreciated...and I really did appreciate your sharing JOSEPH's children and JOSIAH's information....we are looking at all of JOSEPH's children...tHANK YOU AGAIN.
